More than a dozen priests with ties to Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Collingswood, took part in a Mass on Sept. 6 to celebrate the feast day of the parish’s namesake. Early September also marks the 12th anniversary of the creation of the parish, formed through the merger of Holy Saviour and Saint John Parishes. With dozens of parishioners in attendance, Msgr. Roger McGrath celebrated Mass in Saint John Church. Father Yvans Jazon, current parish pastor, said inviting priests who have served at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish – or either predecessor parish – “was a great way to thank them for their ministry.” For a related news video, visit youtube.com/catholicstarherald.
