A Stephen Ministry Introductory Workshop will take place on Saturday, March 21, at Church of the Holy Family in Sewell, in collaboration with the Diocese of Camden’s Office of Lifelong Faith Formation.
The 9 a.m.-1 p.m. workshop is designed to help participants learn more about Stephen Ministry, a one-to-one lay ministry of trained caregivers who provide confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
Stephen Ministry takes place in congregations from more than 160 Christian denominations across the United States, Canada and 24 other countries.
There are multiple ways to register for this event. Visit www.stephenministry.org/workshop, or call Stephen Ministries St. Louis at 314-428-2600. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. the day of the event, but early registration is encouraged.
The cost is $15 per registrant, or $50 for a group of four or more from each congregation.
