During St. Augustine Preparatory School’s May 18 graduation services, seven members of the Class of 1964 were awarded “Golden Diplomas” in a special ceremony celebrating 50 years since graduating from the all-boys, Catholic high school. The Class of 1964 comprised of 29 young men compared to the Class of 2014 which graduated 158. Those in attendance were, from left, Sen. William Gormley, Jim McQuade, Dr. Joseph Bernardini, Dr. Robert Walsh, Robert D’Augustine, Edward Perugini and Gene Schraeder.
