As the Year of Mercy draws to a close on Christ the King Sunday, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine in Lindenwold will offer the sacrament of reconciliation from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18.
The sacrament will be available in English and Spanish. Father Vince Guest, pastor of the Parish Shrine, stated that confessions are available every weekday evening before the 7 p.m. Mass, but as the Year of Mercy concludes “we want Our Lady’s Shrine to be a refuge of mercy for the faithful.”
The rosary, the Liturgy of the Hours and Divine Mercy Chaplet will also be prayed during the day.
“The Jubilee of Mercy is a tremendous gift to the Church,” said Father Guest. “Do not be afraid, Our Lord never tires of offering us his great mercy and forgiveness. At Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine, the Light is on for you.
