Nickolas Naticchione, a seminarian for the Diocese of Camden, will lead an evening of prayer and music this Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church (Holy Trinity Parish) in Margate.
“To Love and Serve: Concert and Musical Meditation on the Christian Vocation,” begins at 7 p.m. July 24, with Naticchione behind a piano and leading the gathered in song.
Naticchione, who will enter his fourth year at The College Seminary of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Andrew’s Hall, Seton Hall University, South Orange, is pursuing a minor in music performance for the piano, in addition to his seminary studies.
This is the fourth concert the seminarian has held at the parish in the last 15 months; the idea originated during the pandemic. Previous concerts focused on Mary, the Eucharist and Christmas, but the latest “will reflect on what we are all called to do as Catholics,” he says.
“’To Love and Serve the Lord’ is the commission of our vocation, to live (our calling) in service of him, and his holy name,” Naticchione said.
