Join us for the first-of-its-kind Diocesan Eucharistic Congress, our showcase event of the National Eucharistic Revival’s inaugural year.

The National Eucharistic Revival, which kicked off across the United States last June, aims to teach or restore understanding on the True Presence by helping all renew their worship of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

The March 25 bilingual congress will feature presentations by national Eucharistic preachers Father Patrick Hyde, OP, and Father Joseph Jean-Louis from the Archdiocese of Miami; witness talks by local lay Catholics; morning and Rosary prayers, and a concluding Mass celebrated by Bishop Dennis Sullivan. Doors open at 8 a.m. at Camden’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

“A Diocesan Eucharistic Congress is an opportunity for the Bishop to gather the people of his Diocese in one place for a celebration of our Catholic faith in the Eucharist,” said Father Robert Hughes, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Camden. “Through prayer, teaching, silence, Adoration and Mass, the faithful can recognize the importance of the Eucharist to our Catholic life.”

The event will include a short lunch break. All may bring their own food into the facility. Limited pavilion concessions also will be available.

Individuals, families and groups are welcome. For more information on the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress – or upcoming revival lectures and Holy Hours – visit eucharisticrevivalsouthjersey.org or avivamientoeucaristicosj.org.

A freewill offering of shelf stable foods (canned or boxed foods) is appreciated to support the Diocese of Camden’s annual FaithFULL Food Drive. Donations can be dropped off at select locations in parking lots adjacent to the pavilion.

For more, visit Eventbrite at camdendiocese.org/ectix, or check out the Diocese of Camden’s event page at camdendiocese.org/event/diocesan-eucharistic-congress-03-25-23.
