The Knights of Columbus Araneo Chapter is sponsoring a bus to the annual Rally for Life in Trenton, which this year is being held on June 24, the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision.

The U.S. Supreme Court’s historic decision overturned previous rulings that guaranteed abortion as a constitutional right.

The rally, organized by New Jersey Right to Life, will begin at 11 a.m. outside the State House Annex, 145 West State St. In addition to a march, pro-life leaders, elected officials and clergy from numerous religions around the state will address participants.

There is no cost to passengers for the Knights of Columbus bus, which will make stops in Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland Counties. However, riders are responsible for their own refreshments and asked to contribute $5 each to tip the driver.

Participants are encouraged to wear blue. Do not bring signs, as they will be provided for the rally.

The tentative and approximate schedule for the day is as follows:

7:30 a.m. – Depart Toni Morrison Service Area, Garden State Parkway milepost 18, Ocean View

8 a.m. – Depart Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon

9 a.m. – Depart Sacred Heart Church parking lot, 1002 E. Landis Ave., Vineland

10:30 a.m. – Arrive at State House Annex, Trenton

11 a.m. – 2023 New Jersey Right to Life Rally

1 p.m. – March on Trenton

2 p.m. – Depart State House Annex

3:30 p.m. – Arrive Sacred Heart Church parking lot

4:30 p.m. – Arrive Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church

5 p.m. – Arrive Toni Morrison Service Area

A finalized itinerary will be provided to all registered passengers prior to the trip.

Bus space is limited; contact Rob Fini at (215) 680-7556 or RobFiniSr@gmail.com to reserve a seat. Visit www.NJRTL.org for more information.
