On this last day of November, the Catholic Church celebrates the feast of Saint Andrew – Apostle, fisherman, and brother of Simon Peter.
Hear Laurie and Pete discuss the life of this follower of Jesus, and learn how to pray the Saint Andrew Christmas Novena.
It is thought that whoever recites the following prayer 15 times a day, from Nov. 30 – Dec. 25, will obtain their favor requested.
Here it is:
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen.
