Faithful of Saints Peter and Paul in Turnersville honored their oldest parishioners during a Sunday Mass on Sept. 14. Recognized with corsages and boutonnières, those 80 years and older were thanked for their contributions by their pastor, Father Yvans Jazon, and the parish community. A luncheon in the Parish Center followed the liturgy. Father Jazon said it was important to celebrate the 65 seniors who were in attendance that day, calling it “a blessing for the parish to see and thank all of those who are our storytellers.” In a similar way, VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services will hold its annual Centenarian Mass at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 at Saint Isidore the Farmer Church, Vineland.
