All those interested in learning more about the life and faith of Saint Francis of Assisi are invited to attend a spiritual pilgrimage.
The Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal in Atlantic City are offering a series of talks on the life and teaching of the “Little Poor Man of Assisi” in July and August. The talks begin at 2 p.m.; opportunities to visit the CFR chapel and receive a plenary indulgence in this Jubilee Year of Saint Francis are also possible.
The first talk will take place July 11, with the title, “The Life and Conversion of Saint Francis.” The second, titled “Enacting the Ideals of Saint Francis Today,” will be held Aug. 8. Both talks will take place at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Church, the Parish of Saint Monica, 1409 Pacific Ave., Atlantic City.
The Franciscan Chapel is located at the Father Benedict House, located next to the church’s parking lot.
