Cardinal Chibly Langlois, named the first Haitian cardinal of the Catholic Church earlier this year, celebrated Mass July 20 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Galloway, to mark the 14th anniversary of the Haitian community at St. Monica in Atlantic City. During his time in South Jersey, Cardinal Langlois of Les Cayes also visited relatives, presided at a cousin’s wedding, and baptized two of his cousins’ children.
