Bishop Sullivan continued his visits to South Jersey’s Catholic high schools, celebrating Masses of the Holy Spirit at Paul VI High School, Haddonfield; Wildwood Catholic Academy, Wildwood, and Holy Spirit High School in Absecon.

During the visits, Sept. 22 and Sept. 25, respectively, he was joined by local clergy and school administrators as well as Dr. Bill Watson, superintendent of South Jersey Catholic Schools, and Father Joshua Nevitt, priest-secretary and associate director of vocations for the Diocese. After each Mass, Bishop Sullivan enjoyed breakfast with students, sharing about his vocation story and his bishop duties. He also asked the teens about the college admissions process and their plans for the future.

Father Nevitt spoke about his recent trip to Portugal for World Youth Day, and brought some vocations-themed sunglasses for the students to enjoy. Dr. Watson rounded out each visit by praising the students on their commitment to Catholic education and imploring them to continue to practice their faith as they continue on to college.
