Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish will host Father John Petrikovic, OFM Cap., for its “The Journey to Belong in Jesus” mission in Brigantine later this month.
The event will last three days, each beginning at 7 p.m. On July 31, Father Petrikovic will cover “Faith on the Road: Unbelievably Simple & Simply Unbelievable.” Aug. 1, he will teach that “Jesus Left Nazareth for a Reason.” The mission will close on Aug. 2 with “Communion: Some Assembly Required.”
Father John Petrikovic holds several degrees in Franciscan, spiritual, theological and psychological studies. He held several education and administration posts at Collegio San Lorenzo da Brindisi, a home for Franciscan Friars studying internationally in Rome, for six years. This in now Petrikovic’s eighth year as a full-time minister.
Aside from his faith, Father Petrikovic enjoys playing the keyboard. He has combined this hobby with his faith in the delivery of liturgies to both domestic and international congregations at Franciscan gatherings. He is also a staff member of the Franciscan Pilgrimages Program, initiated to promote historical teachings to various institutions within the Franciscan community.
