The Holy Spirit Girls Crew Team will sponsor an Art Auction Fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 22, at Holy Spirit High School, Absecon.
Preview starts at 7 p.m., auction begins at 8 p.m. Wine, hors d’oeuvres, dessert and coffee will be served.
The fundraiser is in response to a flood at the Brigantine Rowing Club, which is Holy Spirit Girl’s Crew home. The force of the water dislodged the boats from their racks and three boats sustained major damage.
The boats are in the process of being repaired but the costs are extremely expensive. The goal is to have the boats ready to participate in the first race on March 23 at Lake Lenape.
