Hispanic Catholics in the Diocese of Camden are invited to join Bishop Dennis Sullivan in celebration during this Jubilee Year of Mercy at Vineland’s Divine Mercy Parish on Sunday, Sept. 18.
Themed “Forever Is His Mercy,” the 3-6 p.m. event at Divine Mercy, 23 West Chestnut Ave., will include Mass with the bishop and witness talks on mercy from area Spanish-speaking Catholics.
The day is a good opportunity to “pass through the parish’s Holy Door of Mercy, and experience the love and mercy of God,” said Andrés Arango, Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry in the Diocese of Camden.
“The bishop’s presence, and the witness talks, will empower Latinos to share their faith and serve the most needy in their communities,” he added.
After the Eucharistic celebration, all will gather in the parish hall for fellowship, food and music. Admission is free. For more information, call 856-583-6170 or e-mail norma.guzman@camdendiocese.org
