Gloucester Catholic High School’s Lisa Gedaka is now at the top of one of the most prestigious coaching lists in South Jersey high school sports.
Gedaka (nee-Angelotti), a 1984 Gloucester Catholic graduate who scored more than 2,000 points in a Rams uniform, reached the milestone following a 65-19 victory against Clayton on Jan. 31. The win lifted Gloucester Catholic to 12-6 on the season and boosted Gedaka’s career record to 683-204.
Gedaka, now in her 34th season, surpassed longtime Wildwood High School coach Dave Troiano, who coached for 39 seasons before stepping down in 2017.
