On Aug. 21st, Knights of Columbus Nativity Council delivered close to 50 school backpacks filled with an abundance of school supplies to Saint John Paul II Regional School, Stratford. In addition, over $200 in cash and gift card donations were given to the school. Nativity Council sponsored an appeal to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Lindenwold parishioners a few weeks prior.
Principal Helen Persing will give backpacks and supplies to students in need in the school. A few students already received backpacks at a recent Back to School Night for kindergarten children and parents. “We are grateful for the support of the Knights in our parish and the kindness of OLG parishioners. School supplies can get quite costly for families and this donation helps greatly,” Persing said.
