Nicole, a student of Archbishop Damiano School, a special education school in Westville, is the daughter of Andrés Arango, the Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry and director of evangelization for the Diocese of Camden. Nicole wanted to ask Acutis for intercession prayers.
During the Arango family’s visit with Acutis, Arango’s daughter Giovanna, left, also visited with the Italian teen’s mother. Giovanna, of Saint Mary School, Williamstown, asked Acutis how Blessed Carlo grew his love for the Eucharist and what advice he would have given to the youth to be like him. Acutis visited the United States, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
