Sister Angeline Del Corso, MPF, 101, died March 23 at Saint Joseph Hall, Villa Walsh in Morristown, N.J.
Born and raised in Trenton, she entered the Religious Teachers Filippini on June 28, 1931; invested on July 3, 1932; and made her final religious profession on July 31, 1935.
Throughout her time as a Filippini, she taught elementary school in New Jersey and Connecticut.
In South Jersey, she served at Saint Joseph Elementary School in Hammonton from 1938-44; 1946-48; and 1963-70.
“Sister Angeline’s strong faith and love of God allowed her to be thankful for God’s gifts and also to live strong in faith,” her religious community said in a statement on her passing.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 27 at Villa Walsh’s Saint Lucy Chapel. Interment followed at Ave Maria Cemetery.
Sister Angeline is survived by nieces and nephews.
