Bishop Schad Regional Catholic School in Vineland is pleased to announce the Sisters of the Most Pure Virgin Mary have accepted Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan’s invitation to serve at the school. New principal Sister Rosa Maria Ojeda, and her fellow sisters, join the school following the departure of Dr. Patrice DeMartino who accepted a position with the ACE academies of the University of Notre Dame.
Most recently, the sisters served at Saint Peter’s School in Merchantville. Superintendent of Schools, Mary Boyle knows that the children and families of the Vineland area will benefit from the ministry of these dedicated women religious. “We are looking forward to enrollment growth at Bishop Schad as there was in Saint Peter.”
Sisters from this same congregation currently serve in ministries at the Parish of the Holy Cross in Bridgeton. In all, Sisters of the Most Pure Virgin Mary have served in the Diocese of Camden since 1993.
Msgr. John Burton, pastor at Christ the Redeemer Parish, said he looks forward to the presence of religious women in the school, again.
