Schools in the Diocese of Camden have various traditions for their graduating eighth graders, from class trips to picnics to awards ceremonies.
At some schools the graduates take a final walk through the hallways to be congratulated by family, faculty, staff and underclassmen, including the kindergarten children they mentored throughout the year.
It is, always, an emotional event.
