It was a glorious Sunday as hundreds of faithful dressed in blues, reds and yellows filled Most Precious Blood Church for the installation of Father Raymond Son Tran, CSF, as pastor of the West Collingswood parish. “Thank you for accepting the pastoral care of the people of this parish,” said Bishop Dennis Sullivan, who celebrated the Mass on Feb. 11. “May all that you do here be as Saint Paul so wisely advises us in today’s second reading, ‘for the glory of God.’” (1 Cor 10:31)

In addition to taking the oath as new pastor and signing the formal paperwork, Father Tran thanked members of the parish’s staff, councils and trustees with applause from the parish community. After Mass, the clergy joined the parish community in celebrating the Vietnamese New Year.
