Bishop Dennis Sullivan joined fellow clergy, women religious and parishioners in celebrating the Vietnamese New Year, also known as Tet, which marks the first day of the Lunar New Year. This is the year of the wood dragon, which is forecast to bring good luck. The festivities followed morning Mass in which Father Raymond Son Tran, CSF, was installed as pastor.
“This is a good way to bring everyone together,” said Nancy Nguyen, 22, below, a lifelong parishioner. “And it’s very special to have all the community here to celebrate our new pastor.”
