I had the opportunity to participate in the Priests’ Retreat at St. Pius X Spiritual Life Center from June 15-19.
The staff met us with welcome and hospitality. The facility was clean, neat and comfortably appointed. The food was exceptional by any standard. The daily liturgies were planned in detail with music and song.
Father Francis was our retreat master and his rich and varied background lent a seam of authenticity to what he had to say. Like a good professor, he guided us to joyful and serious reflection.
Something new is happening at St. Pius X Center. We departed on the feast of the Sacred Heart with our own “hearts burning (within us) while he spoke to us on the way and opened the Scriptures to us” (Luke 24:32).
