Saint Charles Borromeo Parish in Sicklerville will be offering a six-part series of talks beginning with “An Overview of Catholic Social Justice Teaching” on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Michael Jordan Laskey, director of Life and Justice Ministries for the Diocese of Camden, will be the featured speaker. The talk will be held in Borromeo Hall (basement of the church) from 7-8:45 p.m. Five additional talks — on immigration, substance abuse, racism, health care and the environment — will be offered on the second Thursdays of November, December, February, March and April.
