Bishop announces deacon assignments

Bishop Galante announces deacon personnel changes as follows:

Deacon Joseph Beebe, formerly assigned to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish in Berlin to the new parish of St. Simon Stock in Berlin for a term of three years, effective immediately.

Deacon John Rich, formerly assigned to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish in Berlin to the new parish of St. Simon Stock in Berlin for a term of three years, effective immediately. Deacon Rich’s diocesan ministry assignments will be the Deacon Community Board and Marriage Preparation.

Deacon Bernardino Quiles, formerly assigned to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Vineland to the new Divine Mercy Parish in Vineland for a term of three years, effective immediately. Deacon Quiles’ diocesan ministry assignment will be Hispanic Apostolate.

Deacon Thomas Moleski, formerly assigned to St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Vineland to the new Divine Mercy Parish in Vineland for a term of three years, effective immediately. Deacon Moleski’s diocesan ministry assignments will be Healthcare Institutions and Adult Faith Formation.

Deacon Charles Girard, formerly assigned to St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Vineland to Medical Leave, effective immediately.

Deacon Joseph Perella, formerly assigned to St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Vineland to Queen of Angels Parish in Landisville, N.J., for a term of three years, effective Feb. 1. Deacon Perella’s diocesan ministry assignment will be Hospitals and Healthcare Ministries.

Deacon Miguel Rivera, formerly assigned to St. Cecilia Parish in Pennsauken to Retired with Faculties, effective Feb. 1.

Deacon Agatino Garufi, from St. James Parish in Ventnor to Retired with Faculties, effective Feb. 1.

Deacon Albert Riviello, from St. Patrick Parish in Woodbury to Retired with Faculties. effective Feb. 1.

Deacon Luis Correa, from Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Atlantic City to St. Bernadette Parish in Northfield for a term of three years, effective Feb.1. Deacon Correa will continue with his diocesan ministry assignment Hispanic Apostolate.

Deacon George Del Rossi, from Sick Leave to St. Bernadette Parish in Northfield for a term of three years, effective Feb. 1. Deacon Del Rossi’s diocesan ministry assignment will be Healthcare Ministries.

Deacon Thomas Hafner, from Christ the King Parish in Haddonfield to Retired with Faculties, effective Feb. 1.

Deacon Raymond Ellis, from St. Stephen Parish in Pennsauken to Retired with Faculties, effective Feb. 1.

Deacon Joseph McHugh, from St. Peter Parish in Merchantville to Retired with Faculties, effective Feb.1.

Deacon George Lytle, from Serving Outside the Diocese to Retired with Faculties, effective Feb. 1.

Deacon Richard Maxwell, from St. Peter Parish in Pleasantville to St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Egg Harbor Township for a term of three years, effective Feb. 1. Deacon Maxwell will continue with his diocesan ministry assignments in Healthcare Institutions and Diocesan Buildings.
