Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan will be attending the Diocese’s biannual pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Together with Father Robert Hughes, diocesan vicar general and moderator of the Curia, the Bishop will be traveling with pilgrims to walk in the footsteps of Jesus – with an available post tour to Rome and Assisi.
The trip runs Feb. 17-26 or Feb. 17-March 3 with the extended travels. Prices range from $4,299, with private room supplement of $1,350; Assisi and Rome addition is $1,699, with private room supplement of $399.
Among the stops will be Tel Aviv, Stella Maris, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee and Jordan River, Mt. Tabor, Jericho, Jordan River, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Bethany, Dead Sea, Mt. Of Olives, Gethsemane, Mt. Zion, Western Wall, Holy Sepulchre and more. The post trip includes visiting the birthplace of Saint Francis of Assisi, and Mass in Rome’s St. Peter’s Basilica with a visit to the Vatican Museums.
