About 30 business leaders gathered Oct. 20 in Saint Simon Stock Parish, Berlin, for this month’s Catholic Business Network of South Jersey meeting.
The event began with 8 a.m. Mass celebrated by Father Joseph Ciar, A.M., parochial vicar of the parish, who spoke of “the meaning of the Cross as love” on the feast day of Saint Paul of the Cross. After the liturgy, professionals gathered in the parish’s hall for breakfast and networking.
The October meeting was sponsored by Deacon Anthony Cioe and ManUp South Jersey. The guest speaker was Anthony Degliomini, a life coach and fourth degree Knight of Columbus, who shared his story of recovery from a spinal cord injury and his journey back to the Catholic faith.
The Catholic Business Network of South Jersey meets the third Friday of every month at different parishes across the Diocese of Camden; the next scheduled event is 8 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Holy Family Parish, Sewell. All are welcome to attend. For more information, go to cbnsj.org.
