Martin Idler, executive director of Health Services for the Diocese of Camden, accepts the LeadingAge Distinguished Service Award at the organization’s convention May 30 at Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City. The award is given annually to an individual who has “exhibited an exemplary career of outstanding service in the field of aging, and who has enhanced the concept of professionalism by virtue of his/her leadership.” Idler was nominated by administrators of the diocese’s long term care facilities and other diocesan employees.
