Runnemede prayers at the Western Wall

The fifth grade students of St. Teresa School, Runnemede, under the guidance of their teacher, Cecelia Richard, wrote prayer notes that traveled to the Holy Land with a friend of the school, Joanna Bak, who placed their prayers in the Western Wall crevices.

During library class, students learned about the significance of the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Judaism’s holiest prayer site.
