On Sunday, March 7, diocesan Scouts were honored with a Mass and the first-ever diocesan religious activity awards ceremony, at St. Agnes Parish in Blackwood. Awards given included the Divine Mercy Award (for those spreading the message of the Divine Mercy of Jesus), the Footsteps of American Saints (following examples of heroic American saints), Duty to God (helping others understand the Catholic faith), and Discipleship Award (responding to the call to discipleship through service or ministry to the parish and community). Scouts receiving awards included Vito Acosta, Alexis Baskerville, Theresa Borda, Wendy Bower, David Carey, Frank Felker, Heather Felker, Holy Felker, Nicholas Felker, Patricia Felker, Genevieve Fisher, Anthony Holvich, Jr., Catherine McCormick, Danielle Meyers, Carmine Palladino, Marlene Panichelli, Nicholas Panichelli, Lucas Purcell, Sarah Robbins, Hailee Sagnis, William Schmidt, Theresa Sudwoj, and Maddy White.
