Sister Margaret Mary Schmicker, OSF, who served at St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral in East Camden for more than 20 years, died on All Saints’ Day, Nov. 1, in Mount Vernon, N.Y.
Sister was born in Upper Darby, Pa., daughter of the late Mary M. and John R. Schmicker. She is survived and mourned by her sister, Janet Schmicker, her good friend, Nancy Schwartz, the Sisters of St. Francis, and the parishioners of St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral.
Sister was in the 62nd year of her religious life and had spent the last 22 years of her life serving the people of St. Joseph Pro- Cathedral Parish.
