On Dec. 7, the Saint Augustine Prep community held a dedication ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the new Vincent L. Buondonno Center. Prior Provincial, Father Michael DiGregorio, O.S.A., the Prep Board of Governors and over a 100 invited guests welcomed the campus’ newest addition and toured the facility.
The building will be recognized as Vincent Hall and is the new home for the offices of the president, advancement, enrollment management, finance, communications, human resources as well as the business office. Two technologically forward, state-of-the-art classrooms round out the trimmings and features of Vincent Hall.
The Louis and Josephine Buondonno Forum, which opened in 2007 was named after Rose Davis’ parents. Davis’ vision and passion fueled the decision to move forward with the construction of this newest addition, The Vincent L. Buondonno Center, named in memory of her brother.
Father Reilly noted, “Rose Davis’ gift of the Vincent L. Buondonno Center advances the Prep’s Campus Master Plan significantly providing state-of-the-art classrooms and needed office space. Additionally, Vincent Hall creates a campus commons where the school community can celebrate its Augustinian Life together. The entire Prep Community is grateful for Rose’s generosity.”
