Works of Mercy education
Saint Clare of Assisi Parish held a Mercy Jubilee Intergenerational Event on Jan. 16 at Saint John’s Church/Guardian Angels School in Paulsboro. A 9 a.m. Mass was followed by Mercy Stations in the school gym. Representatives from Catholic Charities, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, and 1st Way Life Center educated families visiting each station on a particular Corporal or Spiritual Work of Mercy. Specific breakout sessions on mercy, for adults, teens, and children, also took place in the school gym and classrooms. The event was sponsored by the parish’s Office of Faith Formation.
