LIFE at Lourdes — a program that assists seniors to live safely at home while providing them with a team of healthcare providers — held its second annual motorcycle rally on Oct. 8 in Pennsauken. The normally quiet senior center roared to life with the sound of Harley-Davidsons as more than 75 seniors poured into the parking lot for a chance to ride a motorcycle, get “inked” with fake tattoos and judge cycles in a variety of categories.
The event, coordinated by a LIFE at Lourdes nurse who is part of a local Harley riders group, also featured a disc jockey and included lunch with seniors and cyclists. After lunch, motorcycle trophies were awarded for categories including Best Wheels, Best Custom and Biggest Bike.
