On Sunday, Oct. 23, in observance of Respect Life Month, Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Church in Berlin will sponsor a guest speaker, Dr. George Isajiw, a practicing internal medicine physician from Lansdowne, Pa. His presentation, “End of Life or Ending Life” will address the challenge of caring for those who are incapacitated by age, illness or disability.
Dr. Isajiw is a past president of the Catholic Medical Association and has lectured on topics related to medical ethics at local, national and international forums.
This free, one hour presentation will begin at 9:45 a.m. There is a $6 per person charge to cover a full breakfast. All are welcome to attend Latin Mass before or after the presentation (8:30 a.m. low Mass, 11 a.m. high Mass).
