Irish tenor Emmet Cahill is returning to the Church of the Incarnation in Mantua on March 14 in a show hosted by Knights of Columbus Council 6364.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the church, 240 Main St., with a meet-and-greet planned for 6:15 p.m.
Cahill, who rose to fame as the lead singer of the international Irish music group “Celtic Thunder,” has performed in more than 80 cities across the United States and Canada. He performs in churches, symphony halls and theaters alike.
With titles including “Irish Tenor of the Year,” Cahill performs a variety of music – from Irish classics such as “Danny Boy” and Broadway hits such as “Music of the Night,” to religious songs, the performance features music for everyone to enjoy.
In a 2021 interview with the Catholic Star Herald, he said, “I was raised Catholic in Ireland – my Dad was a church organist, so my earliest childhood memories are of being in church, singing these beautiful hymns with my family. Faith has led me to where I am today, and now I am welcomed to sing for faith communities all over the world, which is truly a blessing.”
This is Cahill’s third appearance at the Church of the Incarnation in Mantua and first in two years. For ticket prices, visit emmetcahill.com or call 856-371-2642 or 609-440-3779.
