Riley Fitzpatrick of Gloucester Catholic High School, seen here on the butterfly leg of the 200 yard individual medley, was a state finalist in two events at the Meet of Champions on March 2 at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology, Deptford. Fitzpatrick, a sophomore, finished eighth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 breaststroke. Saint Augustine Preparatory School senior Michael McCarthy won the 500 freestyle and finished fourth in the 200 free. His teammate Christian Shenk took third place in the 100 backstroke and eighth in the 200 free. The Hermits 400 free relay team placed second; their 200 free relay team placed fifth.
