WOODSTOWN STATION — N.J. State Police troopers recently loaded more than 78 boxes of confiscated counterfeit designer clothing onto a St. Vincent de Paul Society truck. The clothing will be disbursed to the needy by more than 30 Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVDP) conferences in Southern New Jersey.
Frank, SSVDP district president, was appreciative of the donation.
“The present economy and unemployment has created an increased need which makes this donation by the NJ State Police especially significant. Members of the Society are very appreciative to Msgr. (Michael) Mannion, Capt. Donlan, Lt. Colucci, Sgt. Bobbitt, Sgt. Tyler, Dectective Barilotti, and the State Troopers who were instrumental in the donation and loading of the many boxes of clothing.”
Msgr. Mannion is director of the Office of Community Relations, Diocese of Camden.
