Rocci J. Rapposelli, the father of Father Stephen J. Rapposelli, died Sept. 7.
After graduation from Perryville (Maryland) High School, Mr. Rapposelli began his training as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force at McClellan Air Force Base in California. Until retiring, he worked as an aircraft mechanic at Atlantic Aviation in Heavy Maintenance.
In addition to Father Rapposelli, Mr. Rapposelli is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Pietras); son Paul E. of Wilmington, Del.; siblings Sterling (Ida), of Perryville, Agnes (Frank) Sellare of Perryville, Mary (James) Dennis of Perryville, William (Ann) of Wilmington, and Edna Ballard of Dayton, Md.; and sisters-in-law Helen of Wilmington, Margie Pietras of Wilmington and Helen Loflin of Fort Worth, Texas. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 11 at St. John the Beloved Church, Wilmington Interment followed at All Saints Cemetery.
