“For our paschal lamb, Christ, has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us celebrate the feast, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” 1 Corinthians 5:7-8
There was celebration, indeed, as the parish community of Our Lady of Peace, Williamstown, came together on Easter Sunday to celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord.
Families, friends and loved ones filled the pews for the Mass, which was celebrated by Bishop Joseph Williams with Father Sanjai Devis, VC, pastor, as concelebrant.
Easter joy filled the church, as did the fragrance of dozens of tulips, daffodils, lilies and more.
