
Boys and girls track teams from 12 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Camden competed in the 4×100 race April 24 at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia.
Held at historic Franklin Field, Camden’s Catholic Partnership Schools team of Julian Allen, Jace Schwartz, Amir Leon and Aiden Paulino captured the win in the Camden Diocese Boys 4×100 heat with a time of 50.12 seconds.
Saint Peter School, Merchantville, and Saint Paul II Regional School, Stratford, finished second and third, respectively. Saint Margaret Regional School, Woodbury Heights; Saint Rose Catholic School, Haddon Heights; Resurrection Catholic School, Cherry Hill; Guardian Angels Regional School, Gibbstown/Swedesboro; Saint Joseph Regional School, Somers Point; and Our Lady of Hope Regional School, Blackwood, rounded out the remaining teams.
On the girls side, Trinity Barnes, Maggie Kane, Gabby Kesic, and Charlotte Ulrich from Saint Joseph Regional School were victorious in a winning time of 53.92 seconds. Christ the King Regional School, Haddonfield, and Resurrection Catholic School went second and third, respectively. Rounding out the girls heat: Saint Mary School, Williamstown, and Saint Teresa Regional School, Runnemede, along with Saint Rose, Saint Margaret, Saint Peter and Catholic Partnership Schools.
