
Once again this past Lent, in keeping with the season’s tradition of abstinence on Fridays, the Catholic Star Herald asked priests of the Diocese of Camden to share their favorite meatless recipes. South Jersey’s clergy did not disappoint; these shepherds opened up their kitchens to showcase their culinary expertise, and reflect on food, faith and family.

As good food is appreciated in every season of life, we share again these tried and true priest recipes so that our readers can enjoy them anytime and, as Acts 2:46 says, eat “their food with glad and generous hearts.”
