This month, Andrés Arango – Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry and Secretary for Discipleship & Evangelization, Latino, and Multicultural – was one of the speakers at the Global 2033 Summit in Washington, D.C., sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Secretariat for Evangelization and Catechesis. His presentation, “Together to Fulfill the Mission of the Church,” focused on the importance of community. This invitation-only gathering brought together diocesan leaders and executives from national Catholic organizations to reflect on how to live out the Great Commission by bringing everyone, everywhere, to an encounter with Jesus Christ.
