The Diocese of Camden welcomed two new men as seminarians during the month of August: Joshua Thomas and Erick Leon.
On Aug. 10, Bishop Joseph Williams celebrated Mass at Saint Rose of Lima, Haddon Heights, introducing the seminarians and explaining that the men will enter into the propaedeutic stage this fall at Saint Joseph’s Seminary at Dunwoodie in Yonkers, N.Y.
“Josh and Erick, I’m sure you are aware, as much as I was aware, that God has given you much – and now, you are ready to give Him much,” Bishop Williams said in his homily. “You are taking a big step today.”
The Diocese’s seminarians, vocations directors, clergy, families and more were in attendance for the Mass, during which the Bishop reiterated the need for priestly vocations and for the faithful to pray for and support vocations.
