A pair of traditional Thanksgiving rivalry games closed the book on the 2025 high school football season for teams in the Diocese of Camden.
On turkey day, Paul VI High School secured a winning record (6-5) with a 49-13 win over Camden Catholic (2-9) thanks to Tyree Roane, who caught five passes for 146 yards and a touchdown in addition to 51 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground. It was the sixth straight Paul VI victory over Camden Catholic on Thanksgiving, but the Irish still hold the overall bragging rights with a 32-26-1 advantage in the series that originated in 1968.
After a push to the semifinal round of the Non-Public B playoffs, Holy Spirit High School lost 37-14 to Atlantic City during its traditional Thanksgiving Day game. The Spartans had won the previous seven meetings between the two schools and still hold the overall edge in the series with a 52-41-4 advantage in the nearly 100-year-old rivalry. Despite the loss, Holy Spirit produced a 7-5 record this year.
Bishop Eustace Preparatory School wrapped up its season before Halloween, as the Crusaders were defeated by KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy, 22-12, in their season finale. Bishop Eustace still managed an impressive 6-2 season behind sophomore quarterback Eric Beach, who threw for 1,575 yards and 17 touchdowns this year.
Saint Augustine Preparatory School finished with a 6-4 record, which included an appearance in the Non-Public A playoffs; Gloucester Catholic had a 0-10 season.
