Jeanetta Warren, director of Catholic Charities’ Atlantic County Economic Crisis Committee which responds to the needs of laid off casino workers in and around Atlantic City, was selected by Catholic Charities USA as a recipient of the 2016 “Catholic Charities Keep the Dream Alive Honors.” This recognition celebrates individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to poor and disenfranchised people, and who are living out a passionate commitment to making the dream of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. a reality. The award was presented by Bishop Dennis Sullivan on Feb. 8 in Camden, and Warren was honored at a prayer service at Catholic Charities’ Camden office on Feb. 9.
