The Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem are members of a Catholic chivalric order under the protection of the Holy See dedicated to supporting the Christian presence in the Holy Land through prayer, pilgrimage and charitable works. This ancient lay and clerical institution traces its roots to the First Crusade in 1099 and was reorganized by Pope Pius IX in the 19th century. The Order functions as a global network of committed Catholics who live out their faith through service and solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land.
Msgr. Louis Marucci, pastor of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gibbsboro, serves as the Camden Diocesan Coordinator for the Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre. For additional information, contact Msgr. Marucci at msgrmarucci@churchofstandrews.org.
