Catholic school students across the Diocese of Camden embraced the spirit of Thanksgiving this month, brightening the season for others in their community through service. Above, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Regional School in Berlin collected non-perishable food items for Saint Simon Stock Parish’s Saint Vincent de Paul Conference. From Pre-K3 to eighth-grade, the students brought in 4,816 items; the first-graders alone gave 1,158 items! At left, Resurrection Catholic School in Cherry Hill created 19 Thanksgiving dinner baskets, which were donated to the nearby Christ Our Light Church to help support families in need. The school also collected non-perishable items to support the Sisters of Saint Joseph food pantry ahead of the holiday.
