The St. Joseph’s (Hammonton) High School girls’ softball team competed recently in two pivotal games. On Thursday, June 4, in the South Jersey Non-Public B championship at Buena High School in Buena Borough, St. Joseph’s defeated Sacred Heart, 3-0. Three days later, playing Montclair Kimberly Academy for the State Non-Public B championship at Toms River North High School, they were defeated, 3-2, in eight innings. The Wildcats finished their season 21-5.
